4.6.1

Firewall Settings

Please go to path: Firewall -> Firewall Settings page, check Enable to activate Global
firewall settings, then click Apply/SAVE.
Note: three Firewall levels are supported in the device, they are:
Low: enable basic firewall features - prevent port scanning; allow PING from WAN

side; allow ICMP redirect messages from WAN side.
Middle: in addition to Low level, prevent ICMP redirect messages.

High: in addition to Middle level, prevent SYN Flood attack; against PING from WAN

side.
4.6.2 IP Filters
When the firewall is enabled on a WAN or LAN interface, all incoming IP traffic is

Click Add button to configure incoming IP filters. The following interface allows user to
create a filter rule to identify incoming IP traffic by specifying a new filter name and at
least one condition. All of the specified conditions in this filter rule must be satisfied for
the rule to take effect. Click Apply/Save to save and activate the filter.
