To assemble the Oster 76988 clipper/trimmer after it has fallen apart, follow these steps:
1. Attach the Blade: Push the upper part of the blade towards the unit. The blade attachment should snap securely into place without forcing it. If properly aligned, it will snap in with little effort.
2. Lubricate the Blades: Apply one to two drops of the provided blade lubricant or another Oster-approved lubricant before use.
3. Attach the Comb (if needed): Insert the cutting edge of the blade into the comb attachment, then snap it tight at the back end by pushing down.
Forcing the blade or misaligning parts may cause damage and void the warranty.
