State of abnormality
Cutter blade does not

Run engine at idling,
and set choke lever
to CLOSE.
When the engine does not start after warm-up operation:
If there is no abnormality found for the check items, open the throttle by about 1/3 and start the engine.
Probable cause (malfunction)
Loosened cutter blade-tightening
nut
Twigs caught by cutter blade or
dispersion-preventing cover
Abnormal drive system
Broken, bent or worn cutter blade
Loosened cutter blade-tightening
nut
Shifted convex part of cutter blade
and cutter blade support fitting
Abnormal drive system
High idling rotation
Detached throttle wire
Abnormal drive system
Detached connector
Abnormal electric system
Tighten securely
Remove foreign matter
Make request for inspection and
maintenance.
Replace cutter blade
Tighten securely
Attach securely
