    FEATURES AND DESIGN This Multimedia Projector is designed with most advanced technology for portability, durability, and ease of use. This projector utilizes built-in multimedia features, a palette of 16.77 million colors, and matrix liquid crystal display (LCD) technology.     PREPARATION SETTING-UP PROJECTOR CONNECTING AC POWER CORD This projector uses nominal input voltages of 100-120 V or 200-240 V AC. This projector automatically selects correct input voltage. It is designed to work with single-phase power systems having a grounded neutral conductor. To reduce risk of electrical shock, do not plug into any other type of power system.

    PREPARATION LENS INSTALLATION Before setting up a projector, install Projection Lens on Projector. 1. Before installation, check where a projector is used and prepare a suitable lens. For specifications of a Projection Lens, contact sales dealer where you purchased a projector. 2.

    PREPARATION ADJUSTABLE FEET Picture tilt and projection angle can be adjusted by rotating ADJUSTABLE FEET. Projection angle can be adjusted to 10.5 degrees. Lift front of a projector and pull FEET LOCK LATCHES on both sides of a projector. Release FEET LOCK LATCHES to lock ADJUSTABLE FEET and rotate ADJUSTABLE FEET to fine tune position and tilt.

    PREPARATION MOVING PROJECTOR Use Carrying Handle when moving a Projector. When moving a projector, replace lens cap and retract feet to prevent damage to lens and cabinet. When this projector is not in use for an extended period, put it into case (not supplied with this projector). However, some computers employ special signal formats which are different from standard ones and may not be tuned by Multi-Scan system of this projector.

  • Page 41 SETTING Remote control Remote control This projector provides eight different remote control codes (Code 1-Code 8); the factory-set, initial code (Code 1) and the other seven codes (Code 2 to Code 8). This switching function prevents remote control interference when operating several projectors or video equipment at the same time.
  • Page 42 SETTING PIN code lock PIN code lock Security SVGA1 This function prevents the projector from being operated by an unauthorized person and provides the following settings for security options.     APPENDIX MAINTENANCE WARNING TEMP. INDICATOR The Warning Temp. Indicator flashes red to let you know the internal temperature of the projector exceeds the normal level. If the temperature goes up further, the TOP CONTROL projector will be turned off automatically and the Ready indicator will go out. (The Warning Temp.

    APPENDIX AIR FILTER CARE AND CLEANING Air filters help prevent dust from accumulating on the optical elements inside the projector. To whatever extent the air filters become clogged with dust particles, the cooling fans' effectiveness is reduced, which may result in an internal heat build-up and adversely affect the life of the projector.

    APPENDIX LAMP REPLACE COUNTER Be sure to reset the Lamp Replace Counter after the Lamp Assembly is replaced. When the Lamp Replace Counter is reset, the LAMP REPLACE Indicator stops lighting. Lamp counter Turn projector on, press MENU button and ON-SCREEN MENU will appear.
