When using the stand
When installing the display box on the wall
Please pull out the stand at the back o f the
display box.
When putting the display box away, please
insert the stand i n the slot on the back o f the
display box.

Screw the wal l-hanging screws into the wall
(leave the screws protruding from the wall by
about
5
mm).

Insert the screw heads into the holes on the
back o f the display box.
@ P u l l the display box down lightly w i t h your
hands.
If
the u n i t is not installed properly,
there is a risk that the display box w i l l
fall down.
Please avoid installing the display
box i n a place where the cord w i l l end
u p being trodden on or caught on
something.

Please do not swing the display box
around by the cord.
<Before using>
1. Power source
Please use an AC adaptor or 6 alkali batteries (LR6).
1) In case of using batteries (not included)
Loosen the battery box fixing screw on the side o f the display box and pull the battery box
out. Place the batteries i n the direction as illustrated and insert the battery box back into its
original position and tighten the battery box fixing screw. When the

Be careful when replacing the batteries not to let the batteries fall out.

Insert the A C adaptorjack into the j a c k holder on the side o f the display box and plug the
A C adaptor into the A C wall outlet. (Genuine optional A C adaptor.)
<Trouble Shooting>
(1) Nothing is displayed when
switch is pressed

Check the connection o f the A C adaptorjack to thejack holder, and the connection o f the A C adaptor plug t o the wall socket.

The batteries may be weak. T r y an A C adaptor or new batteries.
(2) Measurement is not accurate
.Check
that all feet o f the scale are steady.
.Accurate
measurement may be impossible if the product is used where there is excessive vibration. Try using the product i n a different place.
