Meaning
Disc has not been inserted.
Time display when unrecorded disc is inserted.
Disc TOC information is read immediately after a disc is inserted.
Optimizing laser power for recording.
Disc is not inserted correctly. Cannot read disc information correctly.
Recording to PMA (Program Memory Area). (Refer to page 11.)
PMA skip/unskip area is full. Cannot record new information.
This message is a warning that although a disc name or track name has been entered, you are
trying to remove the disc without finalizing. (Refer to page 18.)
Additional recording is unavailable due to no time left enable to record.
Additional recording is unavailable due to the disc already finalized.
The maximum number of tracks (99) have been recorded, so no more tracks can be recorded.
CD is play-only, so recording is not possible, or REC MUTE has been set at the start of the
unrecorded tracks.

Playing an unrecorded disc, or a disc on which all tracks have been set to skip.
Power supply is turned OFF to the recording source, or is not correctly connected.
