  • Page 19 If the lamp goes out while charging, disconnect the power cord, and leave for 3 to 5 minutes before reconnecting. If the problem persists, call for repairs. Leave 5 minutes between charging batteries as the charger may overheat leading to malfunction.

    OPERATION 1. Using the light equipped hook WARNING: When using the hook, pay sufficient attention so that the main equipment does not fall. If the tool falls, there is a risk of accident. CAUTION: Do not attach the tip tool except phillips bit to the tool main unit when carrying the tool main unit with the hook suspended from a waist belt.

  • Page 23 CAUTION: Failure to observe the following can result in battery leakage, rust or malfunction. Position the plus (+) and minus (-) terminals correctly. Replace both batteries at the same time. Do not mix old and new batteries. Remove exhausted batteries from the hook immediately.

    English MAINTENANCE AND INSPECTION CAUTION: Pull out battery before doing any inspection or maintenance. 1. Checking the condition of the bit The bits should be checked regularly. If worn or broken bits can slip or decrease the efficiency of the motor and burn it out. Replace worn bits with new ones.
  • Page 29 CAUTION: Be absolutely sure to insert the nail of the carbon brush into the contact portion outside the brush tube. (You can insert whichever one of the two nails provided.) Caution must be exercised since any error in this operation can result in the deformed nail of the carbon brush and may cause motor trouble at an early stage.
