Maintenance

Maintain Server
Restart - the video encoder is restarted without changing any setting.
Restore - the video encoder is restarted and most current settings are reset to factory default values, meaning that the unit
must be reconfigured and any event types and PTZ presets must be recreated. The settings that do not reset are:
• the boot protocol (DHCP or static)
• the static IP address
• the default router
• the subnet mask
• the system time
• IEEE 802.1X settings
Default - the default button should be used with caution. Pressing this returns the video encoder's settings to the factory
default values (including the IP address).
Upgrade Server -
See Upgrading the Firmware, on page 48.
Identify
To help identify the physical channel of the IP address for maintenance purposes, a LED can be set to flash. Enter the number
and choose the unit of time from the drop-down list. The LED can be set to flash for a number of seconds, minutes or even
hours. Click Flash LED to initiate flashing.
Click Rack Overview to see a graphical representation and other information of where the blade is situated in the rack.
