Low Voltage Battery

Auxiliary Battery
•
The PRIUS c contains a sealed lead-acid 12 Volt battery. The 12 Volt
auxiliary battery powers the vehicle's electrical system similar to a
conventional vehicle. As with conventional vehicles, the negative terminal
of the auxiliary battery is grounded to the metal chassis of the vehicle.

The auxiliary battery is located under the passenger side rear seat.
NOTE:
An under hood label shows the location of the HV battery (traction battery)
and 12 Volt auxiliary battery.
