Turning Off Music System

Your Sonos Multi-Room Music System is designed to be always on; the system uses minimal electricity whenever it is not playing
music. To quickly stop streaming music in all zones, you can use the Pause All feature.
• Using a handheld Sonos Controller, select Pause All from the Zone menu.
• Using the Sonos Controller for Mac or PC, select Pause All from the Play menu.
Your ZonePlayers will remain off until you press Play to restart each zone or zone group.

Equalization (Sound Settings)

You can change the sound settings (treble, bass, loudness, or balance) for each individual ZonePlayer.
Note: The loudness setting is designed to compensate for normal changes in the ear's sensitivity
at low volumes— you can turn this setting on to boost certain frequencies, including bass, at low
volume.
Using the Sonos Controller for Mac or PC
Highlight a zone in the Zones pane, and then click
for an individual ZonePlayer. (You can also select Equalizer from the Play menu.)
• To change the volume for a zone group, use the group volume control on the left.
• If you have two or more zones in a group, use the Equalizer window to adjust the volume for each zone individually.
• When headphones are plugged in, a headphone
ume, the volume in the zone with headphones attached will be unaffected.
Using a handheld Sonos Controller
1. From the Music Menu, touch Settings>ZonePlayer Settings.
2. Touch to select a zone.
3. Select Music Equalization, and drag your finger across the sliders to make adjustments.
• Slide controls to the right to increase, left to decrease.
• To change the Loudness setting, tap ON or OFF.
• To change the settings for a ZonePlayer back to the original default values, tap Reset All.
