Chapter 4: Managing and Playing Music
Rhapsody Radio
Select the zone you want to play music in.

Click the Music Services tab, and select Rhapsody. (If you are using the Rhapsody free trial, select Music Service
Trials>Rhapsody Trial instead.)
Select Rhapsody Channels.

Select a radio station, and click Play Now.

Adding tracks or albums to your Rhapsody Library
From the Music Services tab, highlight an album, track, or Rhapsody radio station and right-click.

Select Add to My Rhapsody Library.

Using Rhapsody with UPnP
If you are using Rhapsody's desktop application to organize the music on your local drive, your Sonos system can access
Rhapsody's server using Universal Plug and Play (UPnP). You should only use this method to access Rhapsody if you are using
Rhapsody's desktop application, or if you have multiple Rhapsody accounts active in your household.
To access Rhapsody's server using UPnP , make sure UPnP is enabled in the Rhapsody desktop application so that the Sonos Multi-
Room Music System can recognize it and show Rhapsody in your Music Library. This is a one-time preference setting.
Remember— your computer must be on in order to stream Rhapsody content if you are accessing Rhapsody's server this way.
Change Rhapsody setting:
Start RealRhapsody.

Click Tools>Preferences>Rhapsody Server (UPnP).
2.
Click to check the Start UPnP Server Once Logged In box, and then click Start.
3.
Click OK.

Change Sonos setting:
From the Sonos Controller for PC, select File>Preferences and click the Advanced Options button.

Check the Show music from Rhapsody UPnP servers checkbox and click OK.

Deleting a Rhapsody account from Sonos
From the menu bar, select Music>Set Up Services.

Select the account you wish to remove, and click Remove.
2.
Click Yes to confirm, and then click OK.
3.
This will not delete your account from Rhapsody. Your account status with Rhapsody will be unaffected.

Using the Sonos Controller for Mac

If you're new to Rhapsody
From the Music Library, click the Music Services tab.
1.
Select More Music.
2.
Click Start on the Rhapsody Free Trial selection.
3.
Select I'm new to Rhapsody.
4.
Accept the Rhapsody terms and conditions, and then click Continue.
5.
Click Done.
6.
Your free Rhapsody trial account will be valid for 30 days.
After the trial expires
