heating systems via the internet
Configuration
The Vitocom 300 is configured via the Vitodata 300.
Fault messages
Fault messages are reported to the Vitodata 300 server. These mes-
sages are transmitted via the following communication services from
the Vitodata 300 server to the configured control devices:
■ Fax
■ Text messages (SMS) to mobile phones
■ Email to PC/laptop
On-site requirements:
■ Telephone connection
– Type FA5:
TAE socket, coding "6N"
– Type FI2:
RJ45 socket (ISDN)
■ Type GP2:
Adequate GPRS radio signal for the D2 [Vodafone] mobile network
at the location where the Vitocom 300 is installed
■ LON communication module must be installed in the Vitotronic appli-
ance
