Assets include axle with crash-tested subframe; low-weight
fiberglass-reinforced plastic transverse leaf springs with
high-stabilizing capacity; and maintenance-free front wheel-
bearing assemblies.
11 DUAL-CIRCUIT BRAKE SYSTEM
Dual-circuit hydraulics with a sliding-caliper disc brake system
are the key. Electronic brake pad wear sensors are employed on
all wheels, and the discs can be serviced without hub removal.
