Contacting you from SouthAfrica.
We have Samsung Fridge Freezer model RSA1DTMG1/XFA.
After a power outgage when the power came back on, our freezer side started to defrost and does not want to freeze anymore - tried setting the temperatures of fridge and freezer but it keeps defaulting back to where it got stuck? I unplugged it, left it open overnight but it is still not setting temperatures to where I want it to be.
What should I do next?
Any suggestions?
Kind Regards,
Santie Hay

If a Samsung Fridge Freezer model RSA1DTMG1/XFA is not freezing after a power outage and the temperature settings keep defaulting, try the following steps:
1. Check Power Supply – Ensure the refrigerator is properly plugged in and receiving power. 2. Wait for Temperature Stabilization – After powering on, it may take a few hours to reach the appropriate temperature. 3. Reset the Refrigerator – If the temperature settings keep defaulting, unplug the appliance, wait about 10 minutes, and then plug it back in. 4. Verify Door Usage – Frequent door opening or placing warm food inside can temporarily raise temperatures. 5. Check Display Panel – If the digital display is blinking, it indicates a temperature issue, which should resolve once the set temperature is reached. 6. Contact Support – If issues persist, refer to the troubleshooting section in the manual or contact the Samsung Electronics service center.
