Attention:
To avoid damaging the drive, follow these precautions:
v Use only the M3 mounting screws that are provided. If different screws must be

Attaching the cables

Locate the internal power cable in the server and connect it to the power connector
on the drive (see Figure 2-3).
Using the provided SCSI cable, attach the non-terminated end to the SCSI adapter
in the server and the terminated end to the back of the tape drive (see Figure 2-3).
Attention: To avoid problems with the tape drive, follow these precautions:

v Do not attach this tape drive to a SCSI RAID adapter.

Completing the installation and turning on the tape drive

Before completing the installation, check your work to make sure that the power
and SCSI connectors are securely attached and that the cables are properly routed.
