MASTER SPA - LEGEND SERIES - CONTROLS
Timeouts refer to a preset length of time that a function is programmed to operate before shutting off
automatically. Certain conditions (filters or freeze) can cause a function to operate longer, while faults
can cause a function to operate for a shorter length of time. The system keeps track of timeouts
regardless of other conditions occurring.
In multi-button sequences, if buttons are pressed too quickly in sequence, they may not register.
Initial Start-up
After power is applied to the spa it will display configuration information. The spa will then go through
its priming mode. This priming lasts approximately 5 minutes. The purpose of the priming mode is to
help insure that the jet pumps have been primed with water and are ready to operate. It may be neces-
sary in some instances to bleed air from the jet pumps in your spa, if after the priming mode the spa
pumps run but do not move water the pump may have an air lock. (See instructions on page 20)
Once the priming mode has been completed the spa will begin to heat and maintain water temperature
in the Standard mode.
