Open the WorldPhone.
For remote location of antenna,
release telephone and lift it out.
The coax cable allows placing the
antenna up to 3 metres away.

If SIM operated, insert card
(contacts up).

Press and hold the ON/OFF button
for 2 secs.
Adjust contrast with arrow keys.

Enter Phone/SIM PIN code.

Check battery indicator. If low
capacity, connect adapter.

Aim antenna/lid towards estimated
position of satellite.
If needed, use compass and coverage
map to establish approximate direc-
tion.
Beep indicates detection of a signal.
Fineadjust antenna horizontally and
vertically for maximum signal. When
signal bar becomes solid, press OK to
accept.

WorldPhone öffnen.
Für abgesetzten Betrieb der Antenne,
Telefon entriegeln und aus dem Gehäuse
herausheben. Das Standardkoaxkabel
erlaubt eine bis zu 3 Meter entfernte
Aufstellung der Antenne.

Einführen der SIM Karte (Kontakte
nach oben).

Die EIN/AUS Taste lange drücken.
Einstellen des Kontrasts mit den Pfeiltasten.

PIN Code des Telefons oder der SIM
Karte eingeben.

Batterieanzeige prüfen. Bei niedriger
Kapazität Netzadapter anschließen.

Die Antenne bzw. Deckel nach der
geschätzten Position des Satelliten
ausrichten. Falls nötig, Kompass und
Abdeckungskarte benützen um die
Position zu bestimmen.
Ein Piepton meldet den Empfang eines Signals.
Antenne genau horizontal Ausrichten um
maximale Signalstärke zu erreichen.
Sobald der Signalanzeigebalken
ausgefüllt erscheint, mit "Ok" bestätigen.

Inbetriebnahme –

Aprire il WorldPhone.
Se l'antenna va remotizzata, estrarre il
telefono. Il cavo coassiale consente di
installare l 'antenna fino a 3 metri di
distanza.

Se necessario, inserire la carta SIM
(con i contatti in alto).

Premere il tasto ON/OFF per 2
secondi.Regolare il contrasto con i
tasti a freccia.

Digitare il PIN telefonico o SIM

Se l'indicazione di carica della
batteria è insufficiente, inserire
l'alimentatore.

Orientare l'antenna verso il satellite,
la cui posizione puó essere
determinata con la bussola e la mappa
di copertura.
Un bip indica che il segnale è
presente. Regolare alzo ed elevazione
per l'indicazione di max segnale:
quando la barra diventa consistente,
premere OK per accettazione.
