Connecting Status LEDs on the Parallel Port

The following shows a typical LED drive circuit connected
to the parallel output port of the SRP-X500P. To find the
appropriate value of the required resistor, apply the
following formula:
R [ohm] > (V - Vf) [V]/0.04 [A] (V: +24 V or less)
