11. TROUBLESHOOTING

Problem
You can hear interference on
the line.
You can't make calls
The LEDs are flashing in
sequence.

Possible cause
The handset is out of range of the
base, or too close to an electrical
appliance
The Symbio base is not properly
connected or has no power supply.
Your base is updating.
Solution
Check that is not sounding the range limit beep tone
(cf. Chapter 6.6 "Beep tones").
Check that the base is properly connect to your phone
socket (or ADSL box if you have an unlimited telephone
service contract).
Check that the

hing (If this is not the case, then check the power sup-
ply to the base and wait for it to restart).
Check that you handset is properly registered ( the
registration icon is displayed in the top right of the
welcome screen).
Check that the broadband phone service is activated on
your line or wait for your internet connection to be res-
tored (this may take several hours). If the problem per-
sists, contact your ISP support service.
Your base software be updated within a few minutes.
The base will then restart automatically.
You can use your base again once the LEDs stop flas-
hing.
