CARE & MAINTENANCE
• Do not immerse the device in water. If the unit comes in contact with water, dry immediately with
a soft, lint-free cloth.
• Do not clean the unit, earphones or USB cable with water, abrasive or corrosive materials.
• Never attempt to disassemble the unit; such may result in malfunction or distorted parts.
• Do not subject the unit to excessive shock.
• Do not tamper with the device's internal components. Doing so may cause damage and void
the warranty. This device contains no user-serviceable parts.
• While not in use, always turn off the device.

TROUBLE SHOOTING:

PROBLEM:
Audible Heart Rate Report is no longer available.
SOLUTION:
Voice files may have been deleted. Download software from www.Sportline.com and
reinstall files.
PROBLEM:
Heart Rate Alert indicates below or above target zone.
SOLUTION:
Increase or decrease exercise intensity (run/walk faster or slower, etc.) to align effort
with target zone.
PROBLEM:
The voice prompt interrupts with heart rate info trying to just listen to music.
SOLUTION:
Turn the Heart Rate Alert off (see pg. 17-18 – "Setting Audible Heart Rate Alert").
PROBLEM:
The unit can not read heart rate when wearing chest strap transmitter.
SOLUTION:
Ensure that the belt is making contact with the skin. Moisten contact pads with
saliva or water (see pg. 24 – "Acquiring Heart Rate Wearing the Chest Transmitter
belt"). Replace battery if contact is made and still no reading.
