USB CONNECTION TO A COMPUTER
You can copy WAV or MP3 files to/from a computer, erase files on the TWOTRACK
and arrange folders.
Use the included USB cable to connect the recorder's USB port to a free USB port on
the computer (XP, Vista, Windows 7, and Mac OS X supported).
The TWOTRACK will appear as two USB drives:
'USB Disk' for the internal Flash memory
'Removable Disk' for the Micro SD card.
For Windows users, the drives will be found in 'My Computer' ('Computer' in Windows
Vista and 7); for Mac users these will appear on the desktop.
Disconnecting from a computer
Press the [RECORD] button on TWOTRACK to get back to the Home screen and then
disconnect the recorder's USB cable.
Powering the Unit
The recorder can be operated using an AA battery or Ni-MH battery.
Changing the battery
1.
Slide off the battery cover located on the back of the unit.
2.
Take out the old battery.
3.
Put in the new battery.
Turning the power on and off
1.
To turn the power ON, press and hold the POWER button on the left side panel
until "ALESIS TWOTRACK" appears on the display.
2.
To turn the power OFF, press and hold the POWER button until "POWER OFF"
appears on the display.

BASIC OPERATION

Recording Setup
Before recording we recommend selecting the appropriate Record Setup options.
1.
While on the Home Screen, press MENU.
2.
Use the [UP] and [DOWN] buttons to scroll through the following Record Setup
menus:
Rec_Type: Select the sampling rate/ bit rate of your recording (WAV at
44.1k 16-bit or MP3 at 64 kbps, 128 kbps, or 192 kbps (Default: WAV).
Rec_Mode: Select stereo or mono mode for your recording.
3.
Press [RECORD] to enter one of the above mentioned sub menus and use the
[FORWARD] and [BACK] buttons to select among the options.
4.
When you are finished, press the MENU button to get back to the Home Screen.
5.
Press the [FOLDER] button to select to record to the internal flash or micro SD
card.
