However, "127.000.000.001" cannot be set even though it is within the
above ranges.

However, "000.000.000.000" and "127.000.000.001" cannot be set
even though they are within the above ranges.
Displaying the MAC address

Open RP SETUP menu [25] and turn the F1 dial to
display the "10. MAC ADDRESS" item.

z The MAC address can only be displayed. It cannot be changed.

Setting the reception port number
Set the port number for receiving camera information update
notifications from remote cameras.
Set this when connecting with remote cameras via a router.

Open RP SETUP menu [25] and turn the F1 dial to
display the "11. PORT CAM1" to "110. PORT CAM100"
items.

Use the F2 dial to set the reception port number for
each camera number.
Input range : 61000 to 65534
z Only even numbers can be set.
Setting GLOBAL AREA
Set this when controlling remote cameras via a public line.
Set GLOBAL AREA to "On" to send control commands regardless of the
status of the remote camera that is the connection destination.
The camera status indicators that correspond to camera numbers with
the connection type set to "Network" are always lit green, and the other
camera status indicators are off.
For details on the camera status indicator display when GLOBAL AREA
is set to "Off", refer to "Selecting a remote camera" (page 38).
z For details on connection types, refer to "Setting the connection types

z When the GLOBAL AREA setting is "On", a remote camera

connected with a serial connection cannot be controlled.
For a camera number with the connection type set to "Serial",
the connection type is automatically set to "NoAsign" when the
GLOBAL AREA setting is set to "On".
