Cut, copy, and paste text

To highlight text, touch and hold the text. To change your selection, move the cursor indicators.

Do one of the following:
• To copy the text, tap the highlighted text. Tap
• To cut the text, tap the highlighted text. Tap

Selecting word suggestions that appear while you type

Your BlackBerry device is designed to learn what you tend to say and where in a sentence you tend to say it. Your device
uses this information to try to predict what word you might type next. When you pause your typing, suggested words are
displayed above the BlackBerry Keyboard. You can quickly select a suggested word by tapping it.

Select a suggested word

To use a word that appears above the BlackBerry Keyboard, tap it to select it.
Spell check
Turn on spell check
1.
On the home screen, swipe down from the top of the screen.
2.
Tap
Settings > Language and Input > Spell Check.
3.
Set the Spell Check switch to On.
Accept spelling suggestions
If spell check is turned on, spelling mistakes are underlined in red as you type.
Tap the underlined word.
To accept a spelling suggestion, tap the suggested word.
To add the word to your personal dictionary, tap Add to Dictionary.
