Unidirectional Condenser Microphone
Your Optimus Unidirectional Condenser
Microphone delivers acoustic clarity and
accuracy. The unidirectional pickup pat-
tern controls feedback, reduces pickup
of undesired signals and provides in-
creased sensitivity. Your microphone is
intended for use in high-quality recording
and sound-reinforcement applications
where wide, smooth frequency response
is needed. Its features include:
Flat Frequency Response — offers
faithful sound pickup.
Recessed On/Off Switch — helps pre-
vent you from accidentally turning your
microphone on or off.
Unidirectional Polar Pickup Pattern —
reduces feedback and pickup of unwant-
ed signals.
Balanced Low-Impedance Output —
compatible with professional or amateur
equipment with a phone jack. (You need
an adapter, available from your local Ra-
dioShack store, to use the microphone
with equipment that has an XLR input.)
Wire-Mesh Windscreen — reduces
wind noise and breath pops. To further
reduce wind/breathing noise, use an ad-
ditional windscreen, such as Cat. No. 33-
378.
Included Accessories
16-Foot Cable with 3-Pin (XLR) Con-
nector — for easy connection to profes-
sional-quality public address systems
with unbalanced mic hookups.
Microphone Holder — lets you use the
microphone with a stand.
