Watching TV
Recording a Programme
Pausing Live TV
This function is very useful if you are watching
a programme and are interrupted.
You can rewind a programme you are watching at
any time by pressing the
To pause live TV, press the
remote control.

The time counter will start and shows the amount
of time the programme has been paused. The
linear display on the digital TV recorder will flash.
To continue watching TV, press the
button again and the programme will begin from
where you left off. The linear display on the digital
TV recorder will stop flashing.
You can fast forward, and fast rewind using the

buttons. The speed and direction
are shown on the screen. To change the speed

To go back to live TV, press the
The linear display will turn off.
Series Link
A series link will record all programmes
in a series.
For example, if you set it to record a programme
and series link was set, then each new episode in
the current series will be recorded automatically.

To set a series link, choose the programme to
be recorded in the Guide window and press the
record button.
You will be asked whether you want to record
an entire series or just the current programme.

to select the required option.

Programmes to be recorded are added to a
Scheduled Recordings folder.

Not all programmes are part of a series.

If a series has already started, you can
only record the remaining episodes in the
series.
Series link can also be activated in the

scheduled recordings window
Setting a Recording
You can record two programmes at the same
time using this digital TV recorder or record
one channel while watching another.
Select a programme you want to record and then
press the
REC
When a recording has been set the record icon is
shown before the programme name.
When the digital TV recorder starts to record,
the linear LED display on the front of the unit will
pulse.
NOTE
You can change a channel and watch
•
another programme or recording when
the digital TV recorder is recording.
You can set the recording by pressing
•
REC while watching a programme or
highlighting a programme in the EPG and
pressing REC
