Metering Pulse High Gain/Low Gain
If required for your phone system application, you may adjust the metering pulse generated by your
SX5T from high gain (default setting) to low gain. The gain values are as follows:
For 12Khz systems:
For 16Khz systems:
To set the metering pulse to high gain (default setting):
• From Configuration Mode, press
To set the metering pulse to low gain:
• From Configuration Mode, press
Local Metering Pulse Override/Polarity Reversal (SX5T-500C)
If your phone system application (PBX, Payphone, Public Calling Office) requires Polarity Reversal
instead of a metering pulse in order to initiate call billing, you may set your SX5T to generate Polarity
Reversal based on the CDMA system's metering pulse signals.
For 12Khz systems:
For 16Khz systems:
To enable Local Meter Pulse Override (Polarity Reversal):
• From Configuration Mode, press
To disable Local Meter Pulse Override (default setting):
• From Configuration Mode, press
Note:
This advanced programming setting is available on the SX5T-500C models only.
