Memory card inserting/removing

Read the following precautions before you insert or remove memory
cards:

Do not turn off the power or remove or reinsert a card while data is
being written or read. Data could be destroyed. Wait for the indicator
(CompactFlash indicator, Memory Stick indicator or SmartMedia
indicator) to go out.
■
Do not touch the card's connector. You could expose the storage
area to static electricity, which can destroy data.
■
Hold the card straight when you insert or remove it.
■
Pull the card completely out when you remove it. Do not leave it
partially inserted.

CompactFlash

This slot accommodates CompactFlash from 8 MB to 512 MB (type I
memory only). You cannot use CompactFlash that does not conform to
CompactFlash Association specifications.
Inserting a CompactFlash
To insert a CompactFlash module, follow the steps below.
1. Insert the CompactFlash module into the slot.
2. Press gently to ensure a firm connection.
