Symptom
No Power. Vehicle ignition is ON,
power indicator on DVD Player is OFF.
Remote control does not work.
Picture frozen on monitor.
Remote control does not work.
Player will not function, is operating in
an incorrect manner.
Player will not accept a disc.
Picture is jittery or skips.
Disc will not Play.
No subtitles.
No audio through the vehicle speakers.

Possible Cause
Blown fuse.
Batteries in remote control are exhausted. Replace with (2) AAA batteries.
Remote control not pointed in the
right direction.
The microprocessor has malfunctioned
due to electrical noise.
The microprocessor has malfunctioned

A disc is already loaded.
Vehicle ignition is OFF.
The disc may be dirty.
Defective disc.
The microprocessor has malfunctioned

7. Troubleshooting Guide

Remedy
Check audio fuses in vehicle fuse panel.
Point front of remote control toward the Infrared Receiver on the
OVERHEAD MONITOR.
Press the reset button with a thin rod.
Press the reset button with a thin rod.
Eject the disc before loading a new one.
Press EJECT button. Player will wake up and attempt
to eject for 2 seconds. After this time load a new disc.
Clean disc.
Try another disc.
Press the reset button with a thin rod.
Try another disc.
Press SUBTITLE button on remote to select and adjust
the subtitle menu.
Press and hold the AUX button on the remote control or the
DVD Player to turn ON the FM Modulator and tune radio to FM
88.5MHz.
