Although our C 6MFA/C 7MFA Circular Saws now available on the European market are highly evaluated as
reasonably priced, light-load products, there is also growing demand for less expensive and lighter circular saw
products. In order to expand the market share of our circular saw series products, we consequently released the
C 6SS/C 7SS Circular Saws in wider regions including Europe, as a low-priced series developed by balancing
price and performance.

    REPAIR GUIDE Before disassembly, be sure to remove the saw blade to prevent damage to the cutting edge or personal injury due to the saw blade. 1. Precautions on Disassembly and Reassembly The disassembly and reassembly procedures are described below, as well as certain precautions. The numbers in the descriptions below correspond to item numbers in the Parts List for all the models.
  • Page 10 5. Removal of the Armature (a) Remove the Lock Lever [43] and tap the end surface of the Housing Ass'y [30] with a wooden hammer. The Armature [23] and the Fan Guide [22] can then be removed. (b) Remove the Fan Guide [22], Thrust Washer [19] and Bearing Lock [18]. (c) Use a bearing puller to remove the Ball Bearing 6000VVCMPS2L [44] and Ball Bearing 608VVC2PS2L [20], and then remove Washer (A) [21].
  • Page 11 7. Removal of the Base (a) Align the bevel plate hole of Base [68] with the Gear Cover Ass’y [26] and then press-fit Roll Pin D6 x 50 [58]. (b) Loosen the Seal Lock Screw (W/Sp. Washers) M6 x 14 [62], and then remove Lever (A) [63], the Lock Nut [65], Washer (C) [67] and Bolt (Square) M6 x 20 [28].
  • Page 12 Reassembly Perform reassembly by reversing the order of the disassembly procedure. However, special attention should be given to the following items. 1. Reassembly of the Bearing Lock and Thrust Washer Before installing the Armature [23], be sure to install the Bearing Lock [18] and Thrust Washer [19] in the bearing chamber of the Housing Ass'y [30] in this order.

Reassembly of the Stator Ass’y As shown in Fig. 7 below, insert a guide bar [J-132 stator press pins (special repair tool, Code No. 970911) are recommended] into the Stator Ass'y [38] and Housing Ass'y [30] to accurately align the screw hole on the Stator Ass'y [38] with the corresponding hole on the Housing Ass'y [30].

Cleaning the case When the unit becomes soiled, use a clean, soft rag moistened with soapy water to clean it. Never use chloric solvents, gasoline or thinner (which tend to damage plastic material) for cleaning.
