Fig. 1 Fig. 2 The workpiece must be secured to support the weight of the work vise and the band saw. 2. Position the work vise to the workpiece and secure by tightening the clamp screw firmly (See Figs. 3 and 3a). The clamp must support the band saw.

Fig. 3 3. Attach band saw to work vise (see Fig. 4): Keep hands away from saw blade when attaching and removing band saw. A. Insert mounting bracket pin (A) through hole (B) in work vise. B. Install safety clip (C) and gently lower saw until it rests on workpiece. Safety clip must be installed to prevent separation of band saw from work vise during operation.
Fig. 4 MAKING THE CUT Make sure band saw trigger switch is in OFF position. Connect saw to power source. Only use the vise at heights where a firm grip can be maintained on the saw handle throughout the cut. Always wear eye protection to minimize the risk of eye injury.
