    Each charge can last up to three months depending on frequency of use. Do not charge your Receiver Collar every night. Frequent charging can have a negative effect on the battery.     Prepare the Receiver Collar Step Your Receiver Collar comes with short Contact Points installed. Use the long Contact Points for dogs with long or thick hair. Tighten the Contact Points using the Contact Point Wrench (3A). Check the tightness weekly. The Receiver Collar is waterproof. To Turn On the Receiver Collar Press and hold the Mode Button for 1 second (3B).

  • Page 14 To Twist the Boundary Wire Twisting the wire cancels the signal allowing your pet to cross over that area safely (5B). To ensure the signal is cancelled, it is recommended that you cut and splice the wire between each twisted section. The signal cannot be cancelled by running the wire through plastic or metal piping.

    Verifying Transmitter Boundary Wire Step Connection using Receiver Collar With the Boundary Wire in place and properly connected and the Receiver Collar fully charged, it is time to test the system. This step needs to be completed for both YardMax and Traditional Modes.
