Digital settings – parental settings
In order to prevent viewing of certificated films and programmes, channels and menus can be locked. These
can then only be accessed with a Lock key when in digital mode.
Setting the Lock key
Press MENU then Q until Configuration is

highlighted. Press OK.

Press Q until Parental Settings is highlighted.

Enter Parental Settings Submenu
Press OK, then use Q to highlight Set Lock Key

and press OK again.
Using the number buttons enter a four digit

number, enter the same four digit number
to Confirm.

A box will appear to confirm that the Lock Key

has been set. Press MENU to exit.
When channels and menus are locked they will
only be accessible by using this Lock Key.
Should the Key need to be changed follow the
same procedure, entering the current Key to
access the Parental Settings menu and then a
new four digit number in the Lock Key and
Confirm boxes.
This features locks various menus to prevent the television
from being retuned or the settings being overridden.
In the CONFIGURATION menu use Q to

highlight Parental Settings. The Lock Key will be
requested.

With Menu Lock highlighted, Use S or R to select

between Disabled, Installation and Main
Menu.
Selecting Installation will stop only the
Installation menu from being accessed, whereas
selecting Main Menu will stop access to any of
the menus unless unlocked with the Lock Key.
When Disabled is selected all menus are
unlocked.
