H. TO ADJUST THE HEIGHT OF THE REMOTE JOYSTICK
(Figure 13)
a. Remove the two pan-head screws (A), securing the angle bracket mount (B).
b. Remove the joystick from the mount by unfastening the two screws (C) on the under-
side of the mount.
c. Position angle bracket mount such that you achieve the desired joystick height. Four
positions are available by relocating the mount either on the top or bottom of the
mounting bar (D) and/or by rotation of the angle bracket mount.
I. SWING-AWAY RETRACTABLE MOUNT (OPTIONAL)
(Figure 14)
The joystick is mounted with a mechanism which allows the control to be locked in a for-
ward or retracted position.
Adjustment
a. To retract joystick, press firmly on inside of joystick (E).
b. Push joystick away from front of armrest until it locks into retracted position.
c. To return to forward position, pull to release magnetic catch and swing.
d. Tension adjustment can be made by tightening through bolt (F).
J. ARMRESTS ADJUSTMENT (Highback Comfort Seat)
1. Width Adjustment (Figure 15)
a. Insert armrest support inside of 1" square tube (G) located on back of the seat.
b. Repeat for other side of seat.
c. Position armrest at appropriate width.
d. Tighten knob screws (H) on square tube.
2. Angle Adjustment (Figure 16)
a. Flip back armrest.
b. Adjust the angle of the armrest by turning the bolt (I) clockwise to reduce the angle
and counter clockwise to increase the angle.
c. Fully tighten the jam nut.
3. Height Adjustment (Figure 17)
a. Pull on the height adjustable arm lever (J).
b. Adjust to desired height.
c. Release lever
Avoid pinching fingers in the flip-back armrest.
K. BACKREST (Highback Comfort Seat)
Adjustment for the High Back Contour Seat
(Figure 18)
a. Pull lever (K) upwards.
b. Lean back to desired position.
c. Release lever (K).
CAUTION– Backrest latches must be locked into place before operating wheelchair.
