4 Make a note of the default devices selected in the Playback list. If
you do not want the headset to be the default sound device for
Windows sounds, you can reset the default devices to their
original settings.
5 In the Playback list, select Rocketfish headset, then select Set
Default. A green check appears next to Rocketfish headset.
6 Click Properties, then click the Levels tab.
7 Slide the Speakers slider to the maximum settings. This setting
determines the volume of the chat you hear. You can use the
chat volume control on the receiver to adjust the chat volume.
8 Click OK.
9 Click the Recording tab.
10Make a note of the default devices selected in the Recording list.
If you do not want the headset to be the default sound device for
Windows sounds, you can reset the default devices to their
original settings.
11In the Recording list, select Rocketfish Headset, then select Set
Default. A green check appears next to Rocketfish Headset.
12Click Properties, then click the Levels tab.
13Slide the Microphone slider to the middle setting. This setting
determines the volume of your voice that others hear when you
speak into the microphone.
14Click OK to close the Sound window.
15If you do not want the headset to be the default device for
Window sounds, go back to the Playback and Recording tabs
and set the default audio devices back to their original settings.
16Close any open dialog boxes.
17Press the POWER button on the wireless transmitter, then press
the POWER button on the wireless receiver. When the
transmitter is connected to the receiver, the LED indicator on the
transmitter lights solid blue. You are done and your headset is
ready to use.
