To manually bypass a clogged black (i.e. K) jet, perform the following steps:
Main Menu
Load Media Feed Media Menu
Cut
Pause
Reset
Utility Menu
Prime Display Settings
Access Cartridge Print Settings
Color Calib Menu Service Menu
Calibration Menu
Calibration Menu
Open Jet Menu
Use Calib X/Y
Paper Axis Test
Color Db Menu
In the example below the Magenta jets are illustrated completely blown (100%
filled blocks), but are being automatically bypassed by the printer. There is no
need to manually bypass any of the jets seen here. As long as the printer still
supports a desired print pass mode (refer to top of Prime pattern) then printing
may continue as normal. If the cartridge is still under warranty (<500 ml) and
more than 10 jets are blow, as observed in the Prime pattern, then this qualifies
as a cartridge replacement.

displayed, press Toggle Jet

to turn jet OFF, press OK.
