Set Station Name

Names a station.

Tune in a station you wish to name

Call the Tuner Menu

Select the Set Name mode
Name Set

Enter a name

(page 34).

Exit the Set Name mode
• You can store up to 30 stations in memory.
• You can set a station name only after you have applied
the parking brake.

Frequency Step Setting

Changes the tuning frequency step.
The original setting is 50 kHz for FM band and 9 kHz
for AM band.

While pressing the

Release the Reset button first, after the display
appears. And then release your fingers from the

The frequency setp changes to 200 kHz for FM
band and 10 kHz for AM band.

step returns to the original setting.
• When the frequency step is changed, the unit returns to

Direct Search

Tunes in a station when its frequency is entered.

Select the Direct Search mode

Enter frequency
When you enter frequency, signal reception starts.
Example: When you receive FM 92.1 MHz
Example: When you receive AM 810 kHz
• The operation ends automatically if you do not operate
within 10 seconds.
