4.4.3 Security Digital Card (SD Card) Backup Operations
The SD card slot of the front unit has four functions as shown below:
1. Archive Single image Clips into the SD Card
Please take the following steps to archive a critical image in an SD card.
(1) Insert an SD Card into the SD card slot of the front unit.
(2) Start playing back the recorded video and select a desired channel.
(3) Press the PAUSE button
(4) Press the menu button
●SD CARD JPEG:
The quantity of pictures that can be stored depends on the SD card capacity. How many
pictures can be stored depends on the SD card capacity. You can have the saved images
printed out in any computer. The image is stored in the JPEG compressed format. If more
than one clip is stored in an SD card, file names will be assigned in sequence as shown
below.
SAVE JPG0001.JPG TO SD CARD
SAVE JPG0002.JPG TO SD CARD
SAVE JPG000N.JPG TO SD CARD
2. Archive video of AVI Clips into an SD Card
Please take the following steps to archive a critical video in an SD card.
(1) Insert an SD Card into the SD card slot of the front unit.
(2) Start playing back the recorded video and select a desired channel.
(3) Press the PAUSE button
(4) Press the menu button
(5) Select the SD CARD AVI and press the Enter button

(6) Set the desired settings in the AVI save file setup mode.
