Enclosed space such as an attic or garage

allowed per ULC S-628, ORD ULC C1482.
NOTE; Use metal plate
around exhaust vent pipe
and seal all edges with
non-flammable insulation
such as fiberglass, mineral
wool or ceramic material.
Do not use high tempera-
ture caulking materials to
seal any edge to prevent
future serviceability.

Inspection of Chimney:
• Masonry chimney must be in good condition.
• Meets minimum standard of NFPA 211
• Factory-built chimney must be 6 inch (152mm)
UL103 HT.
NOTE:
In Canada, where passage through a wall or partition of
combustible construction is desired, the installation shall
conform to CAN/CSA-B365.
