DC Negative Cable – Route the appropriately sized cable from the battery negative terminal to
the shunt, and from the other side of the shunt to the inverter's negative DC terminal.
IMPORTANT
The side of the shunt that connects to the inverter should be considered the DC negative bus in
order for the State of Charge (SOC) function to operate properly.

DC Positive Cable - Route the appropriately sized cable from the battery cable terminal to the circuit
breaker.
CAUTION
Observe the proper polarity (line side vs. load side) on DC circuit breakers.

WARNING
Assure that the DC circuit breaker is off when connecting the positive battery cable to avoid
activating the inverter prematurely.

Next route the appropriately sized cable from the other side of the circuit breaker to the positive DC
