INDICATEUR ÉLECTRONIQUE

Lorsque l'appareil
Indicateur
est en marche avec
électronique
de sac / tuyau
un flux d'air normal,
le voyant lumineux
de l'indicateur de
performance est
éteint. Le voyant
s'allume lorsque le flux de l'air est
obstrué. Dans ce cas, vérifier le sac à
poussière jetable, le filtre de sécurité du
moteur ainsi que toute autre site possible
d'obstruction indiqué dans COMMENT
FONCTIONNE L'ASPIRATEUR.

DÉPANNAGE.
Remarque: Le voyant peut aussi s'allumer quand
certains accessoires sont utilisés, à cause de la
réduction du débit d'air dans l'accessoire.
INTERRUPTEUR DE PROTECTION
THERMIQUE
Cet aspirateur comprend un protecteur thermique
qui se déclenche automatiquement lors de
surchauffe afin de protéger l'aspirateur. Si un
blocage interrompt le flux normal de l'air au
moteur, le protecteur thermique éteindra le
moteur automatiquement. Ceci permet au moteur
de se refroidir afin d'éviter les dommages
potentiels à l'aspirateur.
Correction du problème: Éteindre l'aspirateur
et débrancher le cordon d'alimentation de la
prise afin de permettre à l'aspirateur de se
refroidir et au protecteur thermique de se
réarmer. Chercher et retirer toute
obstruction le cas échéant. Vérifier et
remplacer tout filtre bouché. Attendre
environs trente (30) minutes, ensuite
rebrancher l'aspirateur et rallumer afin de
voir si le protecteur thermique s'est réarmé.
RANGEMENT DU POWER-MATE
La rallonge infé-
rieure a un collet
en forme de U
à l'endroit où le
cordon d'alimenta-
tion est accroché. Il
y a une fente en
forme de U près de
la roulette avant du
traîneau.
Le collet permet le rangement des rallonges et du
Power-Mate
®
avec le traîneau pour conserver de l'e-
space. Il faut alors ranger le traîneau verticalement.
Le Power-Mate
®
doit être à plat comme démontré
dans l'illustration ci-contre. Se servir de la pédale de
relâchement du manche dans cette position.
Pour utiliser la rallonge, la sortir de la fente et la
remettre dans la fente pour le rangement.

1. Pull cord out of
canister to desired
length. The cord
will not rewind until
the cord rewind
bar is pushed.
NOTE: To reduce the risk of electric shock,
this vacuum cleaner has a polarized plug;
one blade is wider than the other. This plug
will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If
the plug does not fit fully in the outlet,
reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, con-
tact a qualified electrician to install the prop-
er outlet. Do not change the plug in any
way.
2. Plug the polarized power cord into a 120
Volt outlet located near the floor.
To rewind: Unplug
the vacuum clean-
er. Hold the plug
while rewinding to
prevent damage or
injury from the
moving cord. Push
cord rewind bar.
HOW TO START
CAUTION
DO NOT leave the Power-Mate
in one spot in the upright position for
any length of time. Damage to carpet
may occur.
3. Lower wand from upright position by
pressing on the handle release pedal.
4. Select a pile height setting by pressing
the small pedal on the rear of the Power-
Mate
®
. The pile height setting shows on the
indicator. See SUGGESTED PILE HEIGHT
SETTINGS.
Attention: Refer to your carpet manufac-
turers cleaning recommendations. Some
more delicate carpets may require that they
be vacuumed with the Power-Mate
turned off, to prevent carpet damage.
5. Select a switch position on the handle.
