Program and CC dumps

To dump a Program SysEx, or MIDI Controller data via MIDI, either to
another Nord C2 or for recording the data into another MIDI device,
proceed as follows:

Sending program dumps

Connect the MIDI OUT on the Nord C2 to the MIDI In on the
receiving device .

Set up the receiving device to accept MIDI SysEx and MIDI Con-
troller data .

Press Shift + MIDI and select the "Dump One" or "Dump All" menu
item using the Up/Down buttons .

If needed, set the receiving MIDI device to "recording mode" .

Press the Store button to send the dump to the MIDI Out of Nord
C2 . The display will stop flashing once the dump has been sent .

Sending MIDI Controller dumps

Set up as in steps 1 and 2 in the preceding description .

Press Shift + MIDI and select the 'Send CC" menu item using the
Up/Down buttons .

Press the Store button to send the dump to the MIDI Out of Nord
C2 . The Display will stop flashing once the dump has been sent .
This will send a snapshot of the current, active panel settings as CC
values .

Receive MIDI SysEx dumps

Here is how to receive a MIDI SysEx Dump:

Connect the MIDI Out on the transmitting device to the MIDI IN on
the Nord C2 .

Initiate the transmission on the transmitting device .
If the dump contained all Programs (All), it will replace all programs
currently stored in the Nord C2 . If the dump contained only a single
program, it will be temporarily placed in the currently selected program
memory location . A dot will appear to in the lower, right corner to indi-
cate an unsaved edit . You will then have to store the program manually
to a memory location using the Store function (see "Storing Programs"
on page 15) .

MIDI Controller list

This is a list of the MIDI Controller numbers used for all knobs and
buttons on the front panel and the pedals . When a function is available
for both the Swell . Bass and/or Great manuals (on their respective MIDI
channels) this is indicated with an asterisk * .
