Chapter 2 – Activating and Installing the Modem
Installing the Huawei Driver
The following instructions help you install the Huawei driver for a computer using the Windows 7 operating
system. Computer operating systems can differ. As such, you may need to modify the instructions in this section
to allow for your computer's unique setup. Use these steps as a guideline to install the driver for all Windows
operating systems.
From the Multi‐Tech website, download drivers to a folder on your local PC.
1.
From this folder, select DriverSetup.exe file.
2.
The Program Compatibility Assistant window appears.
3.
Select This program installed correctly.
4.
Plug the USB cable into the PC.
