Operation
the device can be switched off
automatically after notifying the user
about the problem. Moreover, all
unsaved data may be lost. To avoid
this, save your open documents,
close all applications and connect the
smartphone to a power source.

Rebooting the device

If the device does not turn on/off and
ignores any input, take the battery out
to reboot the system.
Inserting and removing the
SIM card
Turn off the smartphone; remove
the back lid and the battery and unplug
other external power supplies. Insert
the SIM card into the SIM holder as
shown on the panel in the smartphone.
When you need to remove the SIM
card, turn off the smartphone, remove
the battery and then remove the SIM
card from the holder.
Warning: Turn off your
smartphone before removing the SIM
card. Never insert or remove the SIM
card when an external power supply is
connected, as this may cause damage
to the SIM card.
Pull the back cover by the corner
as shown on the picture to detach it.
Be careful not to bend it, as it
can cause damage to the cover.
8
Push the back cover tightly against the
body of the device to close it.

Connecting to the network

Once your SIM card is set, your
phone will search for available network
automatically (the screen will show the
network searching is underway). If your
phone has found the available network,
the name of network service provider
appears at the center of the screen.
If "emergency calls only"
appears on the screen, it indicates that
you are beyond the network coverage
(service area), and that you can still
make emergency calls depending on
the signal intensity.
This model supports two SIM cards.
You can insert them both following the
instructions above. To switch between
them select the one you need in the
menu after pressing the upper left
corner of the screen.
Warning! 3G connections are
available only for the SIM card inserted
in the WCDMA/GSM slot.
