Charging the Battery

You must charge the battery for at least 2 hours before
using your phone for the first time.
Using the Charger
1.
Remove the cover of the external connector, and
connect the charger to the external socket located at
the bottom of the phone by pressing both sides
indicated with arrows. Connect the charger to an
AC outlet. Keep the cover in a safe place so as not
to lose it.
The mobile light turns white when the battery needs
to charge.
When the phone is charging, the animated battery
status icon (
) in the upper right of the screen
displays the current status.
Standard charging time: Approx. 2 hours.

• Charging time may vary depending on the state of the
battery and other conditions (See "Battery" on
page 124).
To Disconnect the Charger
Long press the side buttons of the charger, then
disconnect the charger from the external socket of the
phone.

When charging is complete, the battery indicator
icon displays the full charge status and the mobile
light turns off. Unplug the charger from the AC
outlet, then unplug the charger connector from the
phone. Put the cover back.
Note
• Do not use any non approved charger, this may
damage your phone and invalidate any warranty (See
"Battery" on page 124 for details).
To Charge Using the Cigarette Lighter Charger
The optional cigarette lighter charger supplies power
for charging from the cigarette lighter socket of a car.
Battery Level Indicator
The current battery level is displayed in the upper right
hand side of the main display and in the external
display.
