Profiles
(M 7)
Tone sound and vibration set can be customised for
each profile according to your environment.
There are 6 profiles including one user definable
profile: Normal, Meeting, Activity, Car, Headset and
Silent.
Activating a Profile
"Profiles"
1.
Select the desired profile.
Note
• When a profile is set, the corresponding icon
described below is displayed on the stand-by screen.
Normal:
Is the default setup (not displayed
in the stand-by screen).
Meeting:
For use when discretion needed.
Activity:
For use in busy environments.
Car:
For use in the car (connected to a
handsfree car kit).
Headset:
For use with a headset.
Silent:
For use when silence is needed. All
sounds (except the camera shutter
sound) are muted and you are
alerted to calls with the vibrator.
Tip
• Long press R to launch the Profiles screen during
stand-by.
Customising Profiles
"Profiles"
1.
Highlight the profile you wish to customise.
2.
Press [Options] and select "Personalise".
3.
Select the setting you wish to customise and change
as desired.

4.
Press [Save] when finished.
Resetting Profile Settings
"Profiles"
1.
Highlight the profile you wish to reset.
2.
Press [Options] and select "Set to Default".
3.
Enter your handset code.
The default handset code is "0000". For details on
changing the handset code, see "To Change Handset
Code" on page 116.
