SGPIO
The T-SGPIO1/ T-SGPIO2 (Serial General
Purpose Input/Output) headers provide a bus
between the SATA controller and the backpane
to provide SATA enclosure management
functions. Connect the appropriate cable
from the backplane to the T-SGPIO1 header
to utilize SATA management functions on
your system.
Serial Ports
The COM1 serial port is located beside the
VGA port. Refer to the motherboard layout
for the location of the COM2 header. See the
table on the right for pin defi nitions.
Power I2C
The JPI2C header is for power I
be used to monitor the status of the power
supply, fan and system temperature. See the
table on the right for pin defi nitions.
Video Connector
A Video (VGA1) connector is located
below the COM Port on the IO backplane.
Another connector (VGA2) is located on
the serverboard below the VGA1 connector.
These connectors are used to provide video
and CRT display.
