Fully loosen the FortiSwitch-5003A retention screws.

Loosen
Unlock the handles by squeezing the handle locks.
Open the handles to their fully open positions.
Caution: To avoid damaging the lock, make sure you squeeze the handles fully to unlock
them before opening. The handles should pop easily out of the board front panel.
Opening the handles turns off the microswitch, turns off all LEDs, and ejects the
board from the chassis slot. You need to use moderate pressure on the handles to
eject the board.

Pull the board about half way out.
Turn both handles to their fully-closed positions.
When the handles are fully-closed they lock into place.

Carefully slide the board completely out of the slot.
Re-attach the protective metal frame if you are going ship the FortiSwitch-5003A
board or store it outside of a chassis.
