Fuel filter (for fuel tank)
Loosen the fuel pickup elbow shown at
left, remove it and clean the fuel filter.

Water or dirt in the fuel tank will cause
engine performance problems.
Check and clean the tank at periodical
inspection or after the outboard motor
has been stored for a long period of
time (over three months).
