ADJUSTING THE VOLUME
Telephone audio
(Alicante CD34)
If your car sound system is connected
to a mobile telephone, the sound sys-
tem's volume will be muted as soon as
you "pick up" the telephone. The tele-
phone call is then outputted over the car
sound system's loudspeakers. This re-
quires that the mobile telephone be con-
nected to the car sound system as de-
scribed in the installation instructions.
You will need a cable for this with the
following Blaupunkt number: 7 607 001
503.
If the sound system receives a traffic
announcement during a telephone call,
the system will only play the traffic an-
nouncement after you have finished the
call.

Convenient RDS functions

The convenient RDS functions AF (Al-
ternative Frequency) and REGIONAL
extend your radio's range of functions.
AF: If you activate this RDS func-
tion, the radio automatically tunes
into the best receivable frequency
for the station that is currently set.
REGIONAL: At certain times, some
radio stations divide their pro-
gramme into regional programmes
providing different content. You can
use the REGIONAL function to pre-
vent the car radio from switching to
alternative frequencies that are
transmitting different programme
content.
