Replacing the bulb
in the oven light
q Glass ceramic is a natural product just like all other
ceramic materials. Such products can show ir
regularities in their surface structure which are a
result of the manufacturing process. The mirror
finish on the hob can mean that even the tiniest
bubble with a diameter of less than 1 mm can be
seen more or less clearly. They in no way affect the
way the hob functions or its durability.
If the oven light is not working it will be necessary to
replace the bulb. You can do this yourself. You can
obtain temperature resistant replacement lamps from
customer service or in the speciality trade. Please the
E No and FD No of your appliance. Use only these
lamps.
Proceed as follows:
1.
Switch off the cooker fuses in the fuse box.
2.
To prevent damage, place a tea towel in the cold
oven.
3.
Unscrew the lamp cover inside the oven in an
anti clockwise direction.
4.
Replace the lamp with the same lamp type.
5.
Screw back the lamp cover.
6.
Remove the tea towel.
7.
Switch on the fuses again.
You can even replace the lamp cover itself.
